This policy explains how Montage handles information when users run local editing workflows, configure provider keys, connect accounts, or use provider-backed features.
Information Montage Uses
Montage works with user-selected local media, project files, transcripts, indexes, prompts, generated-media requests, render metadata, configured provider keys, and account connection metadata when the user enables account-based workflows.
How Information Is Used
Montage uses this information to index media, plan edits, run the agent, generate or search supporting media, render exports, show provider status, and display errors or logs for support.
Provider Credentials
Montage does not ask for social media passwords. API keys and tokens are added by the user through app settings or environment variables and are used only for the provider workflows the user chooses to run.
User Control
Users can remove provider keys in Montage settings, clear local projects, disconnect accounts where supported, or revoke provider access from the provider account settings.
